When Angels Sing: Great Entrance and Communion Hymn for Holy Thursday (Mode Plagal IV)

I can’t say I’ve listened to many Orthodox hymns. But this is a piece from the Divine Liturgy. It’s more commonly known as the hymn sung before receiving the Eucharist. An incredibly beautiful piece. The choir singing this are called Cappella Romana. Here are the words, though there can be slight variations:

Receive me today, O Son of God,
as a partaker of Your Mystical Supper:
for I will not betray Your Mysteries to Your enemies
or give You a kiss as did Judas,
but as the thief I confess You:
Remember me, O Lord, in Your Kingdom.”
